Summarizing my Life at UCI
inspired by kenny azama and the trip back from ASUCI retreat.
- I pledged Zetas my freshman year and never went through with it since it was way too hard for me. I left Zetas meeting Sean
- Instead, I joined Kababayan, a Pilipino- American club, even though I am Vietnamese.
- There I would meet one of my future roommates, Ryan
- One random night, Sean introduced me to his hometown friend, who introduced me to this girl, who would later introduce me to Ai-Vy, my future girlfriend and best friend.
- It wasn’t that easy for me to ask her out but Ryan kept pushing me to be persistent…
- Later in spring, I rushed Pike but never got a bid so I was never able to join a fraternity my freshman year.
- Instead, I joined SigEp where I got close to a guy name Phil, who would later be one of my best friends
- Just a month after big bro ceremony, my big bro gets kicked out of the chapter and I ended up getting picked up by Mikey, my FV friend since junior year. There I was integrated into Bloodline.
- There I met Phil’s little, Aaron, who would help me regain my faith in God. We now go to church every Sunday.
- Now it’s almost the end of my third year and I can say that I don’t regret any of the decisions that I have made throughout this process because everything that happened… happened for a reason. God has a plan for us and we can never know exactly how it is going to unfold until we actually experience it ourselves.
